2022 - a year that many could argue has been just as, if not more, difficult than the last.

Despite the presence and effects of Covid starting to diminish, the cost of living crisis has quickly filled its shoes and has impacted us all. Here at Arc Design Services, we too have continued to experience many challenges throughout 2022 however, like every year we are choosing to end the year focusing on the positives and what we have worked so hard to achieve and strive forward towards a prosperous year ahead. In this last blog of the year, we discuss some of our bigger achievements and all the little wins in between.

• Earlier this year we got to view one of our projects on a 1930’s Arts and Crafts home in the Wilmslow conservation area, on which we had worked relentlessly to ensure that whilst the property had been extended it still retained its original features and character. The photo below really does showcase the attention to detail that we follow and pride ourselves on here at Arc Design. (insert photo)
• Shortly after this, we saw another scheme finally approved for a remodelled house in the Devisdale conservation area in Altrincham, which was a very positive result for our client and we were thrilled to be bringing another dream home into a reality.
• In September we received our 500th planning application approval in Trafford alone, which with an approval rate of 99%, was not entirely unexpected but still a great achievement for Arc Design Services! Our 500th approval was for a large new super home, with 6 bedrooms over 4 floors totalling 13,600 square feet in Hale Barns and we cannot wait to see the final product in a few months!
• In October we were thrilled to receive ‘Highly Commended’ the Regional LABC Building Excellence Awards for best extension or alteration to an existing home in the North West 2022. This was for our work on a stunning heritage project and we were delighted to continue to be recognised for our work in the local area.
