Our first top tip for getting your home Christmas ready is preparation - make sure your home is fully prepared for the organised chaos that the holiday season brings. Here are a few of our key preparation notes. 

• Make a list and consider ALL the Christmas essentials, for example, batteries, foil and all of the things you forget on a year-to-year basis! 
• If you are hosting this year, make sure you have sorted out sleeping arrangements and have all the beds, bedding, etc that you require ready for the big day! 
• Festive clean/declutter – make sure you have cleaned and decluttered your home ready for the big day. For example, give the dishwasher and oven a good clean ready for their most intense day of the year! Also, ensure you have cleared the hallway ready for all the new coats and shoes that will appear from your guests on the big day! 
• THE MOST IMPORTANT TIP – Don’t leave things till the last minute – make sure you have made lists and all the basics for Christmas Day are bought, sorted and stored to avoid missing out or having a manic Christmas Eve!
